Job Overview:

As a Luxury Retail Officer, you will be the first point of contact for clients, ensuring their safety and the security of the store's valuable inventory. Your primary responsibility is to provide a safe and secure environment for customers, employees, and assets while delivering a high level of customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

Security and Surveillance:

• Monitor and patrol the sales floor, store entrance, and other areas to prevent theft, damage, and other security breaches.
• Operate and maintain security systems, including CCTV, alarms, and access control.
• Respond promptly to any security or safety incidents, managing situations professionally and calmly.
• Conduct regular checks to ensure all security equipment is functioning properly.

Customer Service:

• Greet customers warmly and assist with their inquiries, ensuring a welcoming and secure environment.
• Offer assistance to VIP clients and provide an exceptional level of service that reflects the store’s luxury brand image.
• Support the sales team by monitoring customer flow and identifying any potential security risks.

Loss Prevention:

• Identify and monitor suspicious activities or individuals and take appropriate action to prevent theft and fraud.
• Work closely with store management to implement loss prevention strategies and procedures.
• Conduct internal investigations as required and prepare incident reports.

Emergency Response:

• Be prepared to handle emergency situations such as medical emergencies, fires, or evacuations.
• Assist in the implementation of emergency procedures and ensure all staff are aware of protocols.
• Incident Reporting

Collaboration:

• Liaise with law enforcement and emergency services when necessary.
• Collaborate with store management and the security team to ensure a coordinated approach to store security.
• Provide regular reports on security issues and incidents to the Security Manager.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Experience: Previous experience in security, preferably in a luxury retail environment.
• Education: High school diploma or equivalent. Additional security training or certifications are an advantage.

Skills:

• Excellent observation and communication skills.
• Strong customer service orientation with the ability to engage with high-profile clients.
• Ability to remain calm and make quick decisions in stressful situations.
• Physical fitness to conduct patrols and respond to incidents.
