Job Overview
We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Assistant Manager to join our vibrant hospitality team. As a key leader within our establishment, you will be responsible for overseeing daily operations, ensuring exceptional service, and maintaining a welcoming atmosphere for all guests. Your role will involve supervising staff, collaborating with both front-of-house and kitchen teams, and ensuring compliance with food safety and operational standards.
Duties
• Support the management team in overseeing daily operations, ensuring smooth service flow and adherence to company standards.
• Supervise and motivate bar and waitstaff, providing guidance, training, and support to ensure high performance.
• Monitor inventory levels of beverages, food, and supplies, coordinating with vendors to place orders and manage stock.
• Ensure compliance with food safety and hygiene regulations, maintaining a clean, organised environment throughout the venue.
• Assist in handling customer inquiries, resolving issues, and ensuring a positive guest experience at all times.
• Lead by example in delivering outstanding customer service, fostering a friendly and professional atmosphere for guests.
• Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure seamless communication and coordination between front-of-house and back-of-house operations.
• Contribute to staff scheduling, ensuring adequate coverage for shifts, and assisting in managing payroll processes.
• Participate in team meetings, sharing ideas for improving service quality, staff efficiency, and overall guest satisfaction.
Qualifications
• Proven experience in a supervisory or assistant manager role within the hospitality industry.
• Strong understanding of food safety standards and operational regulations.
• Excellent leadership skills with the ability to manage, train, and motivate staff.
• Exceptional communication skills and the ability to remain calm under pressure.
• A passion for delivering high-quality service and creating memorable experiences for guests.
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
• Knowledge of bar and kitchen operations is advantageous.
